2nd Shift Production Lead

Position: 2nd Shift Production Lead 

Job Summary 

We are looking for a Machine Operator to work directly under our Floor Supervisor. This position will gain first-hand knowledge of EPS manufacturing processes.

Pay: $20 USD/hr

Responsibilities

• Ability to lead, motivate, and direct individuals and teams
• Excellence in verbal and written communication
• Organized with a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Assist Production Supervisor with responsibilities including, but not limited to;
• Supervision of facility and facility staff
• Lead and direct the activity of assigned production personnel and report production results and labor usage as required
• Communicate goals and expectations for shift employees
• Execution of production plan and assignments
• Track production metrics
• Troubleshoot problems with equipment when required. Escalate to Production Supervisor as needed
• Maintain/improve the condition of production equipment and facility
• Organize and track inventory using a systematic process
• Responsible for overseeing an effective quality system with adherence to GMP standards
• Organize and track all quality information in a clear and timely manner
• Work to improve quality standards in the production facility
• Implement and enforce safety guidelines
• Provide and document proper training for production staff
• Recommend methods to improve production and quality of production facility

Qualifications

• Hardworking and enthusiastic personality
• Must be minimum of 18 years of age
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment
• High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.
• Analytical and structured work approach.

Physical Demands

• Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
• Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 2:30pm - 11pm
• Flexibility a must - schedule may changed based on production
