Responsibilities
- Understand automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, & features, comparing & contrasting competitive models & inspect automobiles
- Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins, meeting prospects at community activities, answering internet leads in a timely & appropriate manner, responding to inquiries & recommending sales campaigns & promotions
- Qualify buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests, matching requirements & interests to various models & building rapport
- Demonstrate automotibles by explaining characteristics, capabilities & features
- Connect customr with a Sales Associate for test drives & to secure final sales
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities & reading professional publications
- Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new & different requests & exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- This position coordinates with & reports directly to the Sales Manager or General Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Time management, prioritization skills, and ability to multitask required
- Ambitious, goal oriented mentality and eager to improve
- Ability to hit sales quotas and closing percentages
- Valid driver’s license
