What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Operations Coordinator position at Allen Industries Inc?
The position of Field Operations Coordinator is responsible for working with Project Managers, internal and outsourced installation as well as external customers to manage activities related to sign and building element field installation.
DUTIES
- Adhere to customer contract and timeline for field work
- Perform site walks with client, GC and/or end user customer
- Perform site surveys
- Oversee install in the field
- Perform daily punch walks
- Direct liaison between Allen Industries and Customers, General Contractors, Install Group
- Communicate directly with Customer and Site Superintendent on a site to site basis
- Determine types of equipment needed to perform work
- Supervise installation and installers to ensure all Allen Industries requirements are met
- Up to 80% travel is required for this position including extended stays and possible weekends

SKILLS
- Extensive sign knowledge in manufacturing and installation
- Ability to maintain and meet all safety standards
- Computer skills including excel, word and outlook
- Organized, detail and results oriented
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Ability to read blue prints and interpret sign/shop drawings and specifications
- Ethical Conduct
- Collaboration skills
EDUCATION
- High School diploma, GED or the equivalent of training, education and experience
EXPERIENCE
- Two years of experience in Field Operations Coordinating, service or similar industry. Sign industry experience preferred
