Summary

Responsible for various financial tasks, including accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation, financial accounting, and reporting. Maintains Alliance Bancorp shareholders and trust records and transactions, and handles other Accounting Duties.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Manage Accounts Payable and Supply Order Process

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Supply Order Process
  • Maintain shareholder records, process disbursements and annual communications
  • Work closely with Executive Assistant on shareholder tasks and communication
  • Record and balance accounting and trust transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare accounting reports and balance internal accounts
  • Wire Training and Wire subject matter expert
  • Assist the CFO and Controller with compiling documentation on internal and external audits.
  • Certify FHLB secondary mortgages
  • Provide solutions to internal clients’ needs via phone
  • Promote the bank’s products and services
  • Strive to meet/exceed established Department and individual goals while taking ownership of achieving those goals
  • Contribute to a positive working environment that facilitates exceptional service, expanding profitable client relationships and employee engagement
  • Ensure continuous training and development for self
  • Follow policies and procedures to protect the bank from risk and exposure
  • Actively use the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS to align business goals, drive accountability, and ensure effective communication across teams

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This job operates in a clerical office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment. This position requires manual dexterity and the ability to lift, bend, or stand as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Full-time employee must work 35-40 hours per week average to maintain full-time status.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Financial operations experience preferred
