Fiber installer with splicing experience

Alliance Global Solutions is hiring energetic detail-oriented team members to be Fiber Installer with splicing experience on our Fiber team in Mesa, AZ. In this role, you will be splicing cable connections on site of customer’s premises and small businesses, while providing excellent customer service.

Alliance Global Solution provides a company vehicle, gas card, tools, and uniforms.

• Responsibilities:
• Perform splicing and termination of fiber optic cables in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and test cabling to troubleshoot and resolve in-the-field issues
• Working as a team to complete daily assigned work to ensure all customers have a positive installation experience.
• Utilization of hand and power tools with safety being a top priority.
• Driving a company-provided vehicle from home to job sites in a professional manner, following all company driving policies.
• Complete job ticketing accurately and on time.
• 1-2 years of intrusion alarm, low-voltage, or similar experience/education preferred not required
• Knowledge of smartphones and tablets
• Ability to work proficiently unsupervised
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and clean driving record.
• All candidates must be physically able to climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, and lift to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work with basic tools: extension ladders, drill, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
• Must be 18yrs of age or older
• Daily customer-facing appointments with Installing and troubleshooting of fiber.
• Serve as customer resources for product and service recommendations to meet the customer's needs
• Meeting company set goals for installations
• Being professional and courteous to clients
• Maintaining accurate inventory
• Required to travel within the county areas
• Perform splicing and termination of fiber optic cables in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Skills:
- Previous experience in cabling (coax, fiber, cat5e) and termination
- Knowledge of cabling standards and network Infrastructure
- Field service experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred you have the necessary skills and experience; we invite you to apply for this position.
