Job Description:
The duty manager ensures daily operational activities, ensures efficient business processes, maintains company standards, and leads a team of employees. The duty manger makes work assignments, tracks progress, creates and sends operational reports, along with trouble-shooting issues that arise daily.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties required but not limited to:
- Responsible for day-to-day operations for team.
- Teach, train, and coach a diverse team of people to ensure operational goals are obtained.
- Ability to operate and demonstrate equipment usage in a safe manner i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Responsible for employee relations including recognition and policy compliance.
- Works on all levels in the organization and with widely differing groups of people
- Communicate with all Government Authorities for the compliance of aviation and local laws.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2 years' experience leading a team of 10 employees.
- Knowledge of the airline and/or international air freight industry.
- 2 years' experience working in a warehouse.
- Minimum 1 years of ramp handling and aviation operations experience
- Proven success records in setting and achieving goals and targets.
- Good decision making, time management skills and communication skills.
- Ability to push, pull, lift 50-70lbs.
