What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer position at Alliance Orthopedics?
NJ Spine and Wellness is seeking a motivated Athletic Trainer to work with a team of other clinical professionals to evaluate patient conditions, establish treatments plans, guide therapeutic programs, and track progress towards health goals. To be successful in this role an Athletic Trainer should be committed to ensuring patients accomplish their rehabilitation goals and help them get better faster.
The ideal candidate should be motivated to assist other clinicians and possess a strong understanding of sports-related injuries and treatments.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of PPTs: Physical Performance Testing (Functional Movement Screening, computer-recorded strength testing)
- Provide ongoing contribution to meeting and exceeding the goals of the Athletic Training Team
- Develop strategies that streamline patient care and office flow
- Support and facilitate concussion baseline testing for patients and sports organizations
- Comply with company rules, regulations, and procedures
- Provide engaging one-on-one care with patient evaluations
- Maintain professional relationships with all employees and patients
Requirements:
- Degree in Athletic Training from accredited educational program
- Valid state license and certification in Athletic Training
- Strong understanding of treatment options for sports or related injuries/conditions
- Understanding of first-aid treatments, massage, and physical therapy techniques and equipment
- Detail oriented, analytical, and attentive
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills
