What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at Alliance Recovery?
Alliance Recovery is seeking a full-time Case Manager who has a passion and dedication for assisting clients with substance use addiction. Alliance Recovery is an Intensive Outpatient Treatment facility, in which Case Managers provide individual substance abuse counseling sessions, and group facilitation to educate clients on the disease concept and recovery process.
We are seeking a dynamic experienced individual with 1-2 years in the addiction field and who has CADC certification (or is currently working towards obtaining their CADC) who will work well within a team atmosphere, and is self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Case Managers play an active role in client's recovery program and support them in reaching their treatment plan goals.
Case Managers coordinate services, provide referrals, and help clients with seeking employment and discharge planning. In addition to client care, documentation is a vital part of the case manager’s role and have knowledge of documenting for medical necessity for insurance purposes. Must have experience with electronic medical charting, preferably with KIPU system.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Contacts client’s family upon arrival to our facility, per consents signed upon intake.
- Updates family and clinical team as to the client’s progress.
- Opens and maintain case records as established by Alliance Recovery policy and procedures.
- Works cooperatively with other community resources and referral sources to coordinate services to clients if needed.
- Assists in the assessment of area needs for mental health, substance abuse, and program services.
- Possesses writing skills to accurately chart client progress.
- Communicates clearly and assertively with clients and staff.
- Lectures in a large and/or small group setting.
- Carries out other responsibilities as delegated.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
