What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial/Residential Glass Install position at Allied Glass?

What you’ll do:
Assist with the installation of commercial storefront, shower doors, windows, mirrors, and other glass products while developing the skills and experience to eventually perform installations on their own. Typical skills and tasks include:
- Great attendance record.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to work alone and with others, which includes co-workers and project management staff.
- Self-Starter.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to use a level, laser and basic hand and power tools.
- Have prior experience installing showers.
What you’ll need to have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable insurability for regular business travel
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. frequently, 80 bs. occasionally
- Construction or home building experience preferred but we will train those with a genuine interest in learning a new trade
- Ability to read blue prints and take measurements with a tape measure
