We are seeking an experienced MRI Technician / MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment.
MUST have experience with Siemens equipment, please be sure this is on the resume or application will be declined.
Facility Location: Atlanta, GA (Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away)
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 830PM-7AM
Setting: Hospital - MRI
Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the radiologist, the MRI technologist performs total body imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in various body planes; which results in the production of quality images for diagnostic interpretation. The MRI technologist effectively utilizes all imaging capabilities of the MRI scanner. The technologist is responsible for maintaining optimal level of patient care. In addition, the MRI technologist will assist in the optimization of patient flow and study throughput.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a two-year Radiology Technology program approved by the committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the American Registry of Radiology Technologist
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
- Must have two years successful experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- MUST have experience with Siemens equipment
- Current BLS (AHA only)
- Must possess the ability to grasp and apply the scientific principles related to magnetic resonance technology
