Our national multi-family management company seeks a dedicated and driven Investment Associate with a "Whatever it Takes" attitude to assist our Investment Team further our revenue across all sectors of the company.
Job Summary
Multi-family commercial real estate investment (development and acquisition), construction, and property management company has a great opportunity for an Investment Associate - Investments to help with the company’s development and acquisition pipeline. The position will report to the Managing Director.
REPORTS TO: Managing Director
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Identify investment opportunities.
- Underwrite potential investments.
- Create financial and market models, project schedules with critical paths, equity investment memorandums, and loan packages.
- Prepare annual project plans, monthly and quarterly reports, cash flow projections, and budgets with sensitivity analyses to demonstrate various financial scenarios.
- Prepare monthly construction loan draws for lenders.
- Perform the due diligence and entitlement process of the developments and acquisitions.
- Follow up with project action items.
- Update project checklists throughout the phases of the development and acquisitions.

DEGREES AND DIPLOMAS
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, architecture, engineering, accounting, or finance.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in real estate, architecture, engineering, accounting, or finance.
- Graduate degree in applicable discipline and/or commercial real estate experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook. Knowledge of Microsoft Project a plus.
- The ability to work with limited supervision, multi-task, and propose process improvements strategies will be key components of this role.
- Strategic thinker, self-starter, highly motivated, and results-driven with high integrity.
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines – action oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communicational skills.
- Team player who can work collaboratively with executive management team and outside consultants.
