We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Business Development to join our team at Allied Resources Technical Consultants. The Manager of Business Development will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, expanding our client base, and enhancing our market presence within the Energy, Life Sciences, and Public Infrastructure sectors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic business development initiatives, cultivate key client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.


A Day in the Life:

  • Lead strategic business development efforts to identify and pursue new client opportunities within the Energy, Life Sciences, and Public Infrastructure sectors.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans aligned with company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective client organizations.
  • Drive cross-selling initiatives with the Allied Resources Group (ARG) to maximize revenue opportunities across multiple service lines and industry sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored staffing solutions that meet client needs and drive value.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, industry opportunities, and competitor activities.
  • Represent Allied Resources Technical Consultants at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to promote our services and capabilities.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations to prospective clients.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and client acquisition targets.
  • Stay well-informed of industry regulations, market dynamics, and emerging trends to inform strategic decision-making.


The Wish List:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales leadership roles within the staffing industry, with a focus on the Energy, Life Sciences, or Public Infrastructure sectors.
  • Flexibility to travel /- 50% of the time to current and prospective clients, conferences, and networking events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Salesforce, and Vendor Management Systems (VMS) software.
  • Strong understanding of staffing and recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, and placement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset and a commitment to exceeding revenue targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
