As a Security Officer - Media Site in BRANCHBURG, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout the location. Your presence and attention to detail will help create a secure atmosphere for employees, visitors, and assets. You will interact with a diverse group of people, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to various situations as they arise. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially within the tech, media, and telecom sector.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with access control procedures and provide directions or information as needed.
• Support Allied Universal management in maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
