Registered Nurse (RN)

Job description:

We are looking for a compassionate and passionate Registered Nurse to provide support to our patients in the speedy recovery facilities The Endoscopy RN works collaboratively with the physician and other team members in the Ambulatory Surgical Center to determine patient needs before, during, and after Endoscopic procedures. The RN performs delegated responsibilities using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following responsibilities:

• Provide direct, hands-on care to Endoscopy patients before, during and after Endoscopic procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications, as ordered by the physician.
• Start IV’s using Aseptic Technique.
• Assists with cleaning and preparing rooms between procedures, per the Infection Control Policy.
• Following physician orders and documentation in medical records
• Attending daily medical rounds
• Scheduling follow-up appointments
• Cleaning/inspecting all medical equipment for proper functioning.
• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice, Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physician, Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients

Qualifications and education:

• Holds the following certifications without restrictions: Current North Carolina RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Language - Must be able to read and write English at high school level. Must communicate effectively. Must be able to read numbers and do basic math calculations.
• Transportation – Must have transportation, current NC Driver’s License without restrictions and vehicle insurance.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
