Job Title : On-Demand Substitute Teacher (Specials : Art, Music, STEM, PE)

Location : Flexible / On-Call (Monday-Thursday)

Pay Rate : $20 / hour

Job Overview :

ALLturnATIVES is seeking versatile and dependable on-demand Substitute Teachers to support our dynamic Specials program, which includes Art, Music, STEM, and PE. This role involves being available Monday through Thursday for 2-3 hour shifts to step into classrooms as needed. Substitute Teachers will cover lessons prepared in advance and may be asked to take over classes temporarily, ensuring continuity of high-quality education and engagement for students.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement pre-prepared lesson plans in Art, Music, STEM, and PE as assigned.
• Maintain an engaging and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive space for all students.
• Quickly adapt to changing classroom needs, including stepping into long-term substitute roles if necessary.
• Provide updates and feedback to the regular teacher or school administration about class progress and any incidents.
