Job Summary
Alluvionic is seeking a senior level contract specialist to support the federal contracting lifecycle through proposal, award, execution, and close-out activities.
Must be a US Citizen eligible for a Secret level Security Clearance.
What you will do
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Oversee Estimate of Completions (EACs) and profit impacts.
- Develop and implement procedures, databases, costs/bills tracking tools to ensure full accounting of all funding expenditures.
- Oversee maintenance of financial records for compliance and audit readiness.
- Confirm adherence to FAR, DFAR, DCAA, TINA, CAS and corporate policies and procedures, and compliance with, Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ) instructions, regarding cost proposal preparation, review, submission, and negotiation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of prior related experience.
- 2 years of experience with reviewing RFPs, preparing proposals and pricing models, negotiation, and administration of contracts, DoD contracts preferred.
- FAR experience.
- DCAA audit experience
- Experience with cost estimation and cost performance tracking
- Experience utilizing a variety of sources of salary survey data, to include data derived from market assessments which reflect salary ranges/market prices specific to different types of jobs for specific locations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- MS Project and Project Server.
- Must be eligible for U.S. Secret level security clearance.
- Depending on contractual requirements, you may be asked to provide vaccination status.

- CMA certification
- Experience with 8(a) business
- Experience with Costpoint and Unanet
- Provide financial leadership and oversee financials for various federal contract types including Firm Fixed Price, T&M, and CPFF/CPAF, monitoring for accuracy and compliance with requirements.
- Forecast and manage contract financials: establish budgets, funding profiles, pricing/proposal support, and contract variance analysis.
- Assist in the creation of basis of estimate (BOE) on large proposals; train engagement team personnel to create a thorough BOE.
