Pediatric Emergency Room RN

Duties & Responsibilities:

Pediatric ER nurses treat children suffering from severe and life-threatening conditions. Their main responsibility is to identify the patient's medical needs and the severity of their condition. They also provide basic life support to stabilize pediatric patients. Pediatric ER nurses may be required to float to other pediatric units in extreme circumstances.

Minimum Requirements:

2 years of ER experience or Critical Care. Experience with pediatrics is required. BLS and PALS certified; TNCC preferred. EPIC experience strongly preferred.
