Groundskeeper/Maintenance

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes, ensuring that all grounds are well-kept and inviting. This role requires a combination of physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning, weeding, and planting.
• Irrigate gardens and lawns as needed to ensure optimal growth conditions.
• Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing maintenance or repair.
• Assist with landscape maintenance projects, including installation of new plants or features.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve landscaping goals and maintain high standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to groundskeeping.
• Knowledge of garden maintenance techniques, including irrigation systems and lawn care practices.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance principles and practices.
• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
