Job Description

The Legal Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Brand Protection Program for the company’s Anti-Counterfeiting Team. This role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality and complete repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy. The primary responsibility for this role will be data entry. Flexible weekly work schedule is available.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter data into Perspective Database in order to keep track of cases.
• Train colleagues on database entry and reporting features when necessary.
• Using Perspective, build a variety of reports to support the Brand Protection Team.
• Monitoring of online marketplaces/platforms to identify violations that are ripe for further investigation.
• Attend meetings and document detailed and accurate meeting minutes.
• Organize electronic and physical evidence in order to support in creating link analyses.
• Detailed analytical reports on suspect websites when requested.
• Analyze different forms of data to assist in the drafting of legal documents, i.e. cease and desist letters.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Well-organized and able to manage multiple competing projects.
• Detail oriented and a quick learner.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on time management, follow-through, and issue resolution abilities.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Perspective or other case management systems.
• Knowledge of Brand Protection a plus.
• Knowledge of Trademark enforcement a plus.
