Front Desk Coordinator

Alpha Omega Ob Gyn, LLC is seeking an outgoing, energetic, positive attitude front desk patient coordinator who has excellent people skills. Duties include scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance, check-in and check-out patients, and wide-ranging administrative duties. Familiarity with Athena Health is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Tasks such as answering phones, scheduling patients, checking in/outpatients.
  • Performing insurance verification
  • Performing prior authorization or pre-certification for future surgeries

Skills

  • Work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or medical assistant in a medical office (preferred ob/gyn, but not required)
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
