Essential Job Functions – Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations in alignment with internal deadlines
- Perform intercompany accounting transactions, reconciliations, and confirmations
- Support GAAP and statutory audit activities, serving as a liaison with auditors
- Generate financial reports and other schedules
- Work with other functions / departments to ensure proper record-keeping
- Perform bank account reconciliations
- Support and/or manage various AR processes in conjunction with the AR credit analyst
- Maintain and update Oracle FCC data, uploads, and account mapping
- Support ERP testing and maintenance
- Generate financial reports, perform analysis, and respond to inquiries
- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned by management
Education – Experience – Qualifications
- Completion of 4-year degree in accounting from an accredited college or university required
- Minimum three to five years of experience in full time accounting role required
- Big 4 experience preferred
- Proficiency in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance management
- Strong command of Microsoft Office products
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills – written, oral and inter-personal
- Process-driven and works independently with focus on accuracy and quality
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities
- Experience handling sensitive personal information in a discrete and confidential manner
- Knowledge of state and local sales tax requirements, including annual returns / Ohio CAT tax
- Experience with Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (Infor CSI) preferred, but not required
- Payroll administration and reporting experience welcomed
