What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Alpine Animal Clinic?
Alpine Animal Clinic has a new opportunity for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.
Individuals with strong customer service skills and a love for animals and encouraged to apply! This is a full-time role, comprised of flexible scheduling (4-10s) with weekend coverage.
We’re Looking For:

- Veterinary software knowledge and/or experience with animals is a plus!
Primary skills/responsibilities:
- Client service and communication
- Welcoming and discharging patients
- Collaboration with other team members
- Managing phone lines
- Booking appointments
- Setting up new clients and patients
- Over-the-counter sales
- Financial transactions
- General front desk duties (email, faxing, filing, etc.)
- Ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is always clean and presentable
- Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, noticing areas of need within the practice
Prior veterinary experience will be given priority but all candidates with relevant skills will be considered.
