Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager at Bear Creek Lodge is a hands-on, managerial position directly responsible for overseeing the Bear Creek Lodge infrastructure to ensure functionality and safety. This includes maintaining all areas of the lodge and grounds, ensuring confidentiality and security of guests, owners, and the property, accurately maintaining the work order program, chemical/equipment record keeping, and promoting safety through OSHA regulations/company policies. Day-to-day management responsibilities of staff, the budget reserve, vendors, and other facility projects.
The position is full-time, year-round and the work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise, manage, and oversee the daily activities of the BCL maintenance staff, ensuring the effective use of staff.
- Select, train, evaluate, counsel, and discipline staff in accordance with company policy.
- Manage contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and grounds
Essential Job Functions
- Inspect the property and grounds to ensure that preventive maintenance in all condos/units, public areas, buildings, and outside grounds is maintained and meets safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, irrigation, landscaping/snow removal, pool systems, and kitchen appliances.
- Manage assignment and completion of the work order program, including billing of supplies/hours to the correct owner/account.
- Manage daily and weekly task lists for the maintenance department, auditing frequently to ensure projects are completed.
- Communicate with owners, guests, and vendors to resolve more significant maintenance issues while maintaining a professional appearance and conduct.
- Review and correct any safety and security for compliance with company policy and OSHA standards.
- Manage accurate preventive maintenance records, pool systems, and safety/security systems.
- Manage purchasing expenses, charge out expenses to owners/accounts, and stock levels within budget parameters.
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Job Requirements
EDUCATION: High School Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance, preferably in property management and building maintenance. High-level maintenance skillset, basic plumbing and electric skills, general skilled labor experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be highly organized with strong time management skills, excellent problem-solver, able to multitask, possess an eye for detail, and ability to stay on task with minimal oversight. Valid Driver's License and clean driving record, ability to drive manual. Professional appearance and attitude. Able to communicate professionally in English.
PREFERRED SKILLS: Prior property maintenance experience, knowledge, safe operation of power tools, and concrete work, including sealing and finishing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to climb stairs regularly, lift up to 40 pounds, reach, bend, stretch, twist, crawl, walk, and stand for an entire shift.
