We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join an Agile development team supporting a high-impact enterprise financial software system and web application. You'll work closely with stakeholders, UX designers, architects, developers, and leadership to deliver business capabilities and drive process improvements.

Overview:
We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join an Agile development team supporting a high-impact enterprise financial software system and web application. You'll work closely with stakeholders, UX designers, architects, developers, and leadership to deliver business capabilities and drive process improvements.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze requirements and document user stories for Agile sprints
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams
- Convert business use cases into actionable tasks for development
- Organize, lead, and refine backlogs, epics, and sprints
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to clarify requirements and priorities
- Maintain project documentation in JIRA, Confluence, and Portfolio
- Support process mapping and improvement initiatives
- Contribute to technical planning and execution with Architects and Tech Leads
- Deliver clear technical and business documentation including:
- User stories
- Requirements traceability matrices
- Data flow diagrams
- Use cases
- Wireframes/mockups
- U.S. Citizenship (required for Public Trust clearance)
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years experience as a Business Analyst on Agile software development teams
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Familiarity with Visio, Draw.io, or similar tools for process modeling
- Strong understanding of Agile SDLC and backlog management
- Excellent communication skills, especially with non-technical audiences
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented and customer-focused
- Experience with federal government systems
- Familiarity with DevOps culture and tools
- Prior work in pilot phase or new system implementation
- Knowledge of information architecture, data governance, or cross-team coordination
- DMV-based and willing to be onsite as needed
