What are the responsibilities and job description for the Monitor Technician position at Alta Vista Regional Hospital?
ALTA VISTA REGIONAL HOSPITAL
Performs cardiac monitor observations for assigned cardiac monitored patients in the ICU and Med/Surg unit. Reports cardiac rhythm changes to appropriate staff.
Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or (GED)
Experience: Minimum of one year EKG and rhythm interpretation and understanding of medical terminology preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: BLS certification, completion of Telemetry course.
