Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Nurse Practitioner diagnoses and treats acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team within Senior Care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses
· Diagnose and/or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries
· Maintain complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses
· Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests
· Recommend diagnostic or therapeutic interventions
· Prescribe medications
· Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses
Minimum Requirements:
· Current and valid NP licensure in MO
· 1 year of Pulmonary or Cardiac experience
· Legally authorized to operate a motor vehicle
· Access to insured reliable transportation
Preferred Requirements:
· 3 years of Pulmonary or Cardiac experience
· 2 years of Long-Term Care experience
Professional Skills:
· Demonstrate good judgment and problem solving.
· Effective planning, communication and organizational skills
