The Imprint Machine Operators are entry-level operators who are responsible for running press machines that produce quality imprinted caps for prescription packaging. Operators are responsible for completing periodic paperwork and machine/product checks.

Job Description – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely handle and operate any assigned machine, basic tools or pallet jack equipment
• Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times; bump caps, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes
• Operate machine controls, programs and associated equipment to ensure parts that are produced are done at maximum efficiency and to the highest quality standards.
• Make machinery/equipment adjustments as needed (dislodging jams, controlling speed, product size, etc.)
• Change over ink, caps and print per customer order
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance
• Assist co-operators as needed with various tasks
• Operate tape guns to seal boxes ready for shipment
• Secure labels on to boxes
• Maintain clean/safe work area
• Sort rejected product to determine quality errors

Additional Job Information (Minimum Requirements/Preferred Qualifications)

Conditions of Employment 

Must be able to comply with the following conditions of employment: 

• Climate Ranging from 70 – 100 degrees F 
• No Jewelry, including facial piercings, wedding rings, watches, etc 
• No cellphones on production floor, personal items will be kept in provided lockers onsite 
• No pocket knives or firearms on company grounds 
• Must wear the specified PPE at all times: bump caps, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes 
• Abide by all Safety, GMP, and quality regulations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.  Employee could be exposed to seasonal weather conditions if required to go outdoors.  Proper use of PPE is required at all times.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be regularly required to:

• Remain stationary extended periods of time
• Move around production floor
• Communicate with subordinates
• Position self to ground level as needed
• Move, adjust, and position anywhere from 10 to 25 lbs
• Identify, recognize and assess periodic documents, machinery and more.

Preferred Experience

• 6 months  machine operating experience
• Manufacturing environment experience
