In this position, you will train new employees and maintain the workflow in the lab. Great team environment! Mon-Fri 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm and flexible to cover call off shifts, which could be evening or night Rotating weekends / holidays Overview Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area.
Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital.
Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for the oversite of all technical functions for Specimen Collection and Processing.
Responsibilities Supervises laboratory activities to ensure that procedures are performed promptly, accurately, and precisely according to department and hospital policies and procedures.
May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and / or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals.
This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. Ensures Compliance with the Regulatory Guidelines.
