The Linen Services Associate is responsible to provide excellent customer service and support the linen needs of the organization. The Linen Services Associate transports both soiled and clean linen to designated areas within the hospital and clinic locations. This position is also responsible to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Linen Services department.Essential Job Functions:
Transports soiled linen from soiled linen holding areas to the designated soiled linen pick-up area.
Transports clean linen from linen services to the various departments throughout the organization.
Organizes and maintains the clean linen area within the Linen Services Department.
Labels linen apparel with Altru branded logo.
Stocks linen to be shipped to outlying clinic buildings.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
