Essential Functions:
- Conduct routine cycle counts on in-house inventory.
- Ability to inspect and test medical devices with the use of calibrated instrumentation.
- Package and label implants and instruments per regulations, external standards, and company procedures.
- Anticipate implant and instrument usage and coordinate with Operations Manager and Purchaser.
- Ensure IFU’s and labels are accurate and comply with regulations, external standards and company procedures.
- Coordinate with QARA regarding any regulatory changes for implant and instrument packaging and storage.
- Monitor back orders in ERP system and communicate with Purchaser to address inventory needs.
- Responsible for field set return decontamination.
- Responsible for incoming inventory final cleaning.
- Report customer complaints received to QA. Liaise with distributors, and hospital staff on any pertinent issues.
- Ability to Enter/Pull/Ship sales orders. Submit sales order and scrub to accounting daily.
- As a requirement of employment, this role requires the employee to possess a valid driver’s license at all times.
- This role requires the employee to maintain the vaccinations required to maintain current hospital access at the facilities in which Altus Spine does business.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in the life sciences or High School plus 1 years of Medical Device, Pharma, or Diagnostics experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Experience in medical devices, logistics, labeling and shipping a plus.
- Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills specifically with supply chain processes. Proficient with MS Office.
- Familiar with basic ERP/MRP functions.
