What are the responsibilities and job description for the IDD Program Director position at Alvis?
We are seeking a passionate, experience Program Director that will oversee activities of assigned programs/facilities for DD Services. Thorough knowledge of assigned program(s) is required, including social work theories, interventions, evaluation techniques & treatment systems. The Program Director will demonstrate leadership skills, in order to ensure clients are engaged on a routine basis, utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques, foster & promote healthy decision making & positive interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, criminal justice, behavioral sciences or other related fields.
- Minimum of three years’ experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities and implementing behavioral support strategies and plans. Two years' experience in supervisory
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
