We are seeking a passionate Youth Prevention Specialist with at least 6 months of experience working with children to join our team of professionals in the Columbus area. As an Alvis Youth Prevention Specialist, you will provide a range of prevention programming and activities that promote social and emotional health and well-being. This includes alcohol, tobacco, and drug intervention initiatives to youth in a team environment while ensuring the use of trauma-responsive care strategies for all clients.
This position will embody the Family & Children’s Team mission to support youth success in school and in life. Working collaboratively with team members, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead students in accomplishing established program objectives.
Programming activities for school-age youth may include but are not limited to the following: sports and fitness, cooking and nutrition, outdoor education, music, dance, photography, visual arts, theatre and drama, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics).
