Overview
WE ARE HIRING ALL SHIFTS! We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants in the Johnston County/Wake County and surrounding areas to provide support with activities of daily living to individuals in the privacy of their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including long term care facilities, rehab centers, assisted living facilities, and private homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of all of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Help with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety during transfers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Monitor client health by observing changes in condition and reporting them to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams.
Skills
- Experience in in-home care or long term care preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in various settings with clients of all ages.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families while providing compassionate care.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Required documentation: updated PPD, Active driver's license, SS card, PCA certification, Covid vaccine information
