Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that products are assembled and prepared for distribution efficiently and accurately. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in warehouse environments.
Duties
- Operate hand tools and power tools to assemble packaging materials as required.
- Ensure that all products are packaged according to company standards and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on packaged items to maintain high standards of quality control.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the inventory management of packaging supplies and materials.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- CHEMICAL HANDLING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Previous assembly experience is preferred, demonstrating an ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous, including knowledge of safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
