Schedule:

• Head Nanny: Monday to Friday

Salary:

• Head Nanny: $140,000 - $150,000 per year, with payroll benefits and 401k

Job Overview: A family in Mount Kisco is seeking a dedicated and experienced head nanny to care for their 4-month-old child. The ideal candidates should be education-focused, with a strong background in early childhood development and curriculum planning. The family is currently supported by a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), who will transition out once the nanny roles are filled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the child.
• Develop and implement an educational curriculum for early childhood development.
• Manage daily routines, including meals, naps, and bedtime.
• Collaborate and manage other household staff, including the part-time nanny.
• Accompany the family on travels, including living on a boat during trips (strong swimming skills required).
• Ensure the well-being of pets (a cat and a dog) and farm animals on the property.
• Maintain a clean and organized living space for the child.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Previous experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to drive and comfortable driving.
• COVID-19 vaccination preferred.
• Background check required.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience with curriculum planning for young children.
• Comfortable living and working on a farm with farm animals.
• Comfortable living on a boat during trips.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

Living Accommodations:

• Live-in accommodations provided in Mount Kisco, with a private home on the property.
• Additional living arrangements available in the Hamptons (staff home or private room).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
