Position Overview
We are seeking multiple Ph.D.-level chemists with expertise in analytical, inorganic, or materials chemistry, or a closely related field. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, capable of working on sensitive projects, and comfortable with occasional domestic and international travel.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and validate analytical methods, particularly for inorganic analytes
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and perform non-routine testing
- Operate and maintain advanced instrumentation (e.g., ICP-MS, IC, AAS, UV‑Vis, GC-MS, HPLC, XRD, TOC/TIC)
- Conduct wet chemistry procedures and support lab-scale optimization
- Perform materials characterization using SEM/EDS, FTIR, AFM, and related techniques
- Analyze complex datasets, interpret findings, and present results clearly
- Support interdisciplinary R&D efforts with scalable, reproducible protocols
- Innovate independently while collaborating across chemistry, biology, and engineering teams
- Prepare technical documentation in alignment with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Travel as needed for field testing, demonstrations, and technical support
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field with a focus in analytical, inorganic, or materials chemistry
- Demonstrated expertise in inorganic analysis and/or materials characterization
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically without restrictions
