Payroll Specialist / Bookkeeper Part Time

Amazing Kidz Academy is a growing childcare company dedicated to providing excellent service and maintaining strong financial operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist/Bookkeeper to assist with payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial records and work with the President to resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the President in support of financial operations.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in payroll processing and bookkeeping.
  • Experienced with ADP payroll software and QuickBooks accounting software
  • Prior experience in a childcare or school setting
  • Associates degree in accounting or business preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
