Are you a passionate builder with a keen interest in solutions for the Media & Entertainment (M&E), Games, and Sports industries? Amazon Web Services (AWS) has an exciting opportunity for you. We're seeking an experienced and motivated technologist with a passion for creating strategies, best practices, and solving complex business challenges with an emphasis on content production and media supply chain workflows.
As a Senior Solutions Architect (SA) at AWS, you'll be responsible for educating customers, partners, and internal stakeholders on emerging technologies and solutions that are transforming the M&E, Games, and Sports industries. You get to work with various television, film, and visual effects (VFX) studios to help them build better content production workflows utilizing the AWS cloud. You'll provide hands-on architectural guidance for real-life customer projects involving various AWS services and Independent Software Vendor (ISV)/partner solutions.
In this role, you'll be a content creator, a storyteller, and a presenter through building and publishing content. You'll work with customers remotely and in person, sharing your expertise and insights. Must be open to travel at least 20%.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities

- Architect and deliver innovative, customer-obsessed solutions leveraging AWS services and partner offerings.
- Foster strategic partnerships with key industry players, driving thought leadership and shape industry trends.
- Create high-quality content, including solution guidance, blogs, demos, code samples, and presentations.
- Engage with customers and partners at industry events to inspire and educate them on the transformative potential of AWS solutions.
- Deliver written and spoken communications on complex content production and media supply chain subjects, establishing AWS as the public cloud of choice for organizations in the media & entertainment, game, and sports industry looking to accelerate innovation.
- Provide one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to builder considering or already using AWS.
- Be able to develop proof-of-concepts for Media applications.
- 7 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Intermediate or advanced hands-on knowledge of AWS services.
- Prior experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
- Prior experience working with television, film, or VFX studios.
- Experience with creative applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid, Maya, Nuke.
- Experience with high-performance storage solutions used in creative workflows such as Isilon, NetApp, Qumulo, StorNext.
- Understanding of the Content Production, Post-Production and Media Supply Chain partner landscape.
