On the Delivery Experience team, we are constantly innovating to help our customers get even faster delivery, on an ever-broader assortment of products, with ambitious goals to expand these global delivery services to more and more cities each year.
To drive that growth, we are looking for a customer-obsessed Supply Chain Manager with a strong track record of delivering results and proven supply chain management and/or forecasting experience. This role owns the weekly demand forecasting and performance reporting for the Sub Same Day program in U.S. metros enabling Amazon to continue to push the envelope when it comes to delivery speed. The Supply Chain Manager will drive key strategic decisions around demand forecasting, performance analysis, and new site launches with a focus on experimentation to deliver our customers the optimal blend of convenience and speed.

You have prior experience forecasting and working with lots of cross-functional stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
* Generate a weekly demand forecast for the US SSD network. This involves working with various cross-functional stakeholders to accurately predict the near-term performance of their functional area. In addition this function requires strategic thinking for areas in the forecast to "lean-in" vs "lean-out", managing the pros and cons of various actions.
* Analyze weekly performance for action-oriented insights provided to leadership and partner teams to drive future performance improvement.
* Contribute to ad-hoc analyses. This could be estimating demand for upcoming special events or assisting the product team to generate demand impact estimates for proposed initiatives.
* Advanced Excel skills, or intermediate with a desire to improve, are required to succeed in this role.
* Intermediate SQL/Redshift knowledge, or beginner with a desire to improve, are required to succeed in this role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of experience in Industry
- Intermediate Excel skills (ie comfort with pivot tables, index/match and other advanced formulas)
- Beginner SQL/Redshift skills (ie can create basic queries or edit existing more advanced queries)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of experience in a general management, vendor management, program management type role
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic environment
- Advanced Excel skills (ie experience building net-new models, linking to underlying data sources, working with dates & time data)
- Intermediate SQL/Redshift skills (ie joins, window functions)
- Proven track record of forecasting and using and/or creating forecasting models.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
