The Opportunity
As a Retail/Mortgage Loan Assistant, you will be processing funding requests from the Lenders and Retail Loan Specialists after they close a real estate loan. In this position, clear communication with the other team members and branch personnel is vital as we work within a centralized processing system. It is also important to understand the whole real estate process to properly execute the requests.
Count on to:
- Processing and Activate loans to Navigator as assigned.
- Mortgage releases/title lien releases/track titles.
- Paying Escrow for taxes and insurance.
- Escrow Analysis-taxes and insurance.
- Filing Maintenance/Tickler updates.
- Using LaserPro to produce loan documents.
- Process Cash advances/loan payments.
- Assist customers with loan advances and payoffs.
- CIP, Onboard Advisor for new loan customers.
- Assist loan officers with underwriting consumer loans and pulling credit reports.
- Review real estate files for final documents.
- Mail and review daily loan notices and track past due loans.
- Scan & complete digital files.
Knowledge and Skills:
- One year of college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Use Microsoft Excel and Word Processing software.
- Be organized and detail oriented.
- Meet deadlines.
- Provide stellar customer service.
- Work as a team.
