What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at Ambelal Hotels Group, Inc.?
- Sorting linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material
- Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols
- Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment
- Unloading laundry from commercial dryers
- Stocking laundered items in an organized and wrinkle free manor.
- Pulling soiled linens from housekeeping team in a timely manor from departure rooms and corridors.
- Ensuring cleanliness of public spaces and common areas
- Ensuring adequate supply of laundered liens for housekeepers.
- Identify heavily soiled linens to be removed from circulation and discarded to ensure consistency and quality assurance for guest rooms.
- identify low stock levels of on property linens and notifying management when inventory levels fall below a predetermined level.
- Communicating with housekeeping teams daily regarding workloads, number of departures to ensure adequate stock levels.
