What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Business Development position at Ambition?
We are excited to be supporting on a global law firm headquartered in Europe on their appointment of a Global Business Development Director. This role has been created by the CMO to hold a very strategic role for the firm on a global basis and working across the firms practice areas.
Two core focuses on the role will be providing leadership to the clients and markets team and the proposals team, coming up with innovative ideas and solutions to drive both of these departments forward. You will have the opportunity to piece together a global strategy but also be able to diversify the strategy for the US and EMEA markets.
Working closely with the CMO on developing both of these teams, you will have people management responsibilities of a double-digit team of managers/senior managers across both the client and proposal team. In tandem with the CMO you will be given the mandate to really drive change across these two core areas.
Outside of leading these two functions the role will play a key role within the senior management team helping to bring together the marketing function on a global basis, working closely with the CMO to implement the changes required to make this happen.
We would welcome applications from individuals who are currently operating at Director level or those who are seeking their first Director role, experience of working in a global capacity would be advantageous but not essential.
