Job Description

What you’ll be doing:
- Participate in the continual improvement of technical solutions, standards and processes associated with API development
- Responsible for mentorship of other developers to include participation in code reviews, assistance in development tasks of others when needed and ownership of the work of others to ensure the success of the group
- Responsible for API development tasks including interpretation of requirements, technical coding and debugging
- Feature development on the most advanced aspects of AMC’s e-Commerce platform
- Prototype and exploratory development on emergent technologies
- Establishment of patterns and best practices for other developers
- Code reviews of other developers
- Onboarding new developers
- 7 years professional development experience
- Experience in API development and design (C#, REST, JSON, HAL)
- An ability to quickly learn our code base, tools and practices to progress work independently
- An ability to effectively mentor and guide other developers
- A solid understanding of the theory and architectures implemented in the commercial and open-source tools used to deliver service based applications and portal delivery services
- A collaborative attitude and respect for others
- Continual growth/self-improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
- Technical leadership and/or architectural experience
- Passion for technology & design (and movies!)
