Overnight Residential Counselor

AMEND Treatment Center in Malibu has opportunity for part-time with growth into full-time Overnights to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of professionals in providing residential mental health care to adults of all ages and genders in a beautiful, luxury home-like setting. The ideal candidate is reliable, a night owl, interested in growth potential, and has the ability to stay awake all night. Those who tend to be happiest in this position are writers, graduate students, nurses in training and those who are night owls and can't multi-task. This position requires sensitivity and communication skills, organizational skills, team orientation, and experience with working overnights is a plus.

Successful candidates will have the ability to build rapport with adults when awake, outstanding judgment and boundaries, excellent communication skills, and who can thrive in a team like setting overnight. You must be able to pass a fingerprint, FBI Background Check. Must have reliable transportation and be available to work some weekends. Experience in mental and/or behavioral health is a plus.

​MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Attainment of at least 21 years of age
• Completion of Criminal Record Clearance
• Completion of Health Screen clearance
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination

EXPERIENCE
· Preferred minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, with persons with mental health concerns.
· Preferred experience in working with clients in a overnight setting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES
· Valid Class II driver’s license with clean driving records and current auto insurance
· Current CPR/First Aid Certifications (We can provide as needed)· Water Safety Certification (We can provide as needed)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
