Hydraulic/Industrial Hose Fabricator

The ideal candidate is an energetic individual, a team player, and can provide services necessary for the efficient operation of Ameraflex. This is an In-Person position with operating hours of M-F, 8AM-5PM. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include, but or not limited to:

• Accurate fabrication and assembly of hose assemblies to manufacturer/customer specifications
• Validate conformance to set-up, specifications and adjustments of various machines
• Utilize equipment and tools required to assemble or repair hoses
• Follow all work procedures to satisfy production, quality, and safety needs
• Requires accuracy and precision in measurements and assembly
• Performs all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
• Proper use of appropriate safety gear
• Understanding of sense of urgency as it relates to customer satisfaction
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

• General knowledge of hydraulic and industrial hose fabrication a plus
• Understanding and knowledge of equipment operation
• Ability to come to logical conclusions and determine a repair solution based on qualifications, education and experience of this position is a must
• High School diploma, GED and/or Technical school graduate preferred

• General fabrication skills
• Exhibit strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proficient in reading paperwork, measurements and operating hose building equipment
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and write in English
• Good communication skills
• Basic Level computer skills
• Written communication skills
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisor and customer indicating cause and repair

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

• Must be able to continuously lift and/or move-carry up to 10 pounds; up to 20 pounds frequently and 21 – 75 pounds occasionally
• Be able to stand for 8 hours
• Overtime may be required on occasion as needed
