What are the responsibilities and job description for the 25-26 SY School Psychologist position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?
The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
Contract Details: This contract is located in near Colorado Springs, CO and will last the 25/26 school year. The contract pays $63/ hour (local) and $2,625/week (travel) for 37.5 student contact hours per week with a full benefits package. Before applying for the position, please ensure you are eligible to work in Colorado as a School Psychologist. Currently there are opportunities in Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, and k-8 settings and you would be responsible for 1-2 depending on size.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment
- Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred
- Master’s degree in psychology preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
