Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct overnight sleep studies and monitor patients using polysomnographic equipment.
- Collect and analyze sleep data to assist in diagnosing sleep disorders.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the study.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensure:
- California Polysomnographic Technologist or California Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Certifications:
- One of the following:
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) – BRPT
- Registered Respiratory Therapist-Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS) – NBRC
- Certified Respiratory Therapist-Sleep Disorders Specialist (CRT-SDS) – NBRC
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
