What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered / Certified Behavior Technician position at Amergis Healthcare Staffing?

The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician works tofacilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults withspecial needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioralspecialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. TheRegistered/Certified Behavior Technician can support implementation of AppliedBehavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services.

Minimum Requirements:

Registered BehaviorTechnician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT)license (as applicable per state/contract)
High School diploma or equivalent required
Two (2) years relevant experience preferred
One year relevant experience preferred
Associates degree in behavioral studies or related fieldpreferred
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Weekly Schedule	Monday-Friday
Hours/Week	8:30 – 2:00
Grade Levels	Elementary and Middle
Duties/Position Details (class size/site)	(1) Cases Available/(2) Possible Clients – Must have AAC Device experience (students use Nova Chat if needed) 10 year old male: needs self-help skills during meals, push-in classroom setting (non-graded/independent) and social times. Independent toileting. No self-injurious behaviors, no physical aggression. 4 year old female: push-in classroom setting (getting a new classroom in fall), has more pushback behavior to avoid tasks or assignments. Needs a new face that will help challenge her with behaviors, elopement from tasks, or new behaviors. No self-injurious behaviors, no physical aggression.
Submission Requirements/ Interview Details	Resume, BACB Certification showing in good standing, and Interview Availability. Lead BCBA will be conducting either virtual or in-person.
Feedback Time?	24-48 hours
Additional Details	*RBT’s will be required to learn about all (4) cases within clinic due to call outs or sick days from other staff if they need coverage
