Role Overview:
The School Psychologist plays a vital role in helping students navigate mental health and developmental challenges, while also assisting in the qualification process for additional support services. You’ll work closely with school staff, students, and families to foster a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop student support plans
- Assist in determining eligibility for special education services
- Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
Minimum Requirements:
- Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred)
- Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations (preferred)
- CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB test or chest X-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (as required by contract or state)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
