Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with student needs and IEP goals.
- Collaborate with general education staff to support classroom accommodations and instructional planning.
- Deliver interventions, small-group instruction, and academic support as needed.
- Participate in IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and professional standards.
- Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).
- Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations.
- One year of classroom experience (preferred).
- Special Education certification strongly preferred, including:
- Standard Elementary Teaching
- Standard Secondary Teaching
- Standard Special Teaching
- Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement preferred
- Must meet all state, federal, and local requirements.
- Current CPR, TB test/PPD/chest X-ray, and health certificate as applicable.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
